Sissy escaped her home only to go to the hospital where her owner Nancy was staying at the time. Nancy’s husband Dale was grief struck when he realised that one of his beloved dogs is gone – something the 10-year-old Sissy has never done before. He called everybody he knew in the block and looked everywhere for the dog, but she was nowhere to be found. He was ready to give up looking when he got a call that someone found his dog. And the big surprise was that the person calling was the security guard at the hospital where his wife was a patient at.
Sissy travelled 20 blocks to get to the hospital, but could not get to her owner’s room. The security guard saw her and went to check her collar; then he called Dale. This is the story of Sissy who missed her owner so much that risked getting lost but went to the hospital to look for her.
The CCTV footage released by the hospital shows the little dog entering through the automatic doors of the hospital, but could not find a way to get to the elevator.
